Year 1: In Biophilia I explore the reclaiming of nature's elements and particular flowers that appear innocent but aren't.

Year 2: 'Somnia' is an attempt to create an emotional connection between the image and the viewer. The aim for these series is to receive a psychological response from the viewer. 

Year 2: Symbolism is an artistic style which is frequently used in the arts which has inspired me throughout my work. 'Exelevontur' which is a video piece has specific incorporations of specific symbols, shapes, colours, or identifiable images which communicate to the viewer an intended message.

Year 3: This video piece is an expression of a range of emotions experienced after losing my grandmother. My grandmother's real memorabilia and replicas made from my memories of her are shown in the video including documentation of her house. Since I couldn't say goodbye to her in person, this video piece is a "message of farewell" to her as she left our realm.

Year 3: 'Disarray' explores the state of my current feelings of conflict and turmoil in my personal life. ‘Disarray’ is a performance piece which captures my frustration and annoyance through not knowing what my future holds. I precisely outline my goals for my life in the here and now, moving progressively into the near future, until I run out of ideas for the future and frustrated, start ripping pieces of paper out of the notebook and tearing the pages with the pen.

Year 3: Caeruleus serves as a distraction from my everyday existence and the world around me. I seek solace in the natural world. The many intertwining branches stand in for the disarray in my personal life and what I was going through. A busy yet tranquil impression is created by the use of intensely saturated blue tones.
